Observation 3
This week the amount of organisms increased greatly.
- Diatoms-there is no change in information in the diatoms
- there was an increase in the amount of dead diatoms
- Philodina Rotifer-there are more than last week. Also they can be found further up in the aquarium
- Desmids-the amount of these increased. They could be found more easily in the middle of the aquarium, but they cannot be found in the top water.
- Blue-Green Algae- like the other organisms the blue green algae increased greatly
- Mosquito Larva- turned out that it wasn't mosquito larva, I couldn't quite tell what the organism was because it was moving so fast
- Leeches-I actually could not find the leeches this week
- Paramecium-found in the lower to middle area of the tank. The organsim was moving
- gastrotrich- I found this organism in the bottom of the tank. This organism was also moving.
