Observation 2

This week the amount of organisms found in the aquarium increased drastically.

• Philodina Rotifer- A lot of thesse organisms were found at the bottom of the aquarium. They could be found usually in groups. These organisms were moving organisms.
• Diatoms- There was an increase in diatoms. They are still only located at the bottom though.
• Desmids- this is a new organism that I did not previously find. These were located all over the bottom of my aquarium. These organisms were not moving.
• Blue-Green Algae- These were covering the bottom of my aquarium. They didn't move but there were so many of them in parts of the aquarium that it was difficult to see other organisms.
• Mosquito Larva- I was not able to find the pone mosquito larva from the previous observation.
• Leeches- There were still only a few leeches at the bottom of the aquarium.
